A Big Dirt Hole.

A big dirt hole is being dug up near the front of our property. It's actually not on our property but on my brother's property right next to us. They are digging a huge pond and using the dirt to build up his eventual house pad back in the woods.



The digging of the hole, and the hole itself, have been of interest to the boys. Almost every day they have to go inspect the work and crawl down into the hole to look for "treasure."




Eli loves the tractors too. If Benjamin grows up to be an engineer or architect, I think Eli will his builder or excavator.

Here we are exploring for treasure...

Oh, almost forgot. IT SNOWED!!! It actually snowed here in Texas before Michigan got any snow. Imagine that. The boys loved it and got to build their first snowman. Unfortunately, the snow melted in less than a day.
